The most reliable code checking supported by ASME, AWS and ISO committee members. Your welder performance qualification record will be instantly recognized as a code compliant industry standard.
Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) creation and management is simple, fast and accurate with automatic code checking and links to code related software modules. The latest software update applies code rules published in the 2023 Edition of ASME Section IX and the 2020 Edition of AWS D1.1.
Only C-spec's WeldOffice® offers superior up to date code compliance and code rules verification supported by active code committee members. Your welder performance qualification will be instantly recognized as a code compliant industry standard.
User enable/disable code checking for ASME IX, AWS D1.1 and ISO 9606 provides the flexibility of expert assisted or self-guided WPQ creation.
Free apps for searching Base Metals and Filler Metals are available for mobile devices from App Store and Google Play. Look-up materials on the go, without searching the code book or your computer.
C-spec automaticaly updates the software to reflect the latest requirements. The periodic update schedule depends on each code and standard publication date. The updates are always published before the code mandatory date goes into effect, usually 6 months folowing the publication date. Program uses dynamic forms for data input. Dynamic forms prevent entry of non-relevant information to minimize potential introduction of errors. These forms grow dynamically based on the information that you enter. For example, unless you select a process that uses gas, no information pertinent to gas will appear. Dynamic forms follow a natural flow of information acquisition. They are logically organized to manage complex relations and to present it in the most simplified manner.
Selectable pipe schedules are provided for Carbon steel and alloys (ANSI-B36.10), Stainless steel (ANSI-B36.19). Tube gauge/thickness table is included. Schedules are in both US Customary and Metric units. Non standard Monster and MAV pipe test coupons are included.
Supports groove welds, fillet welds, overlays and stud welding.
